Rachel Pearl & Merry Ellen Kirk @ Elephant Talk Indie Music Festival

Ms. Rachel Pearl. I met a really cool artist at the Elephant Talk Indie Music Festival this past weekend in Atlantic City. She’s an up & coming singer-songwriter with an old school jazzy voice that’s so lovely. I couldn’t get enough of it since discovering her a few days ago. She sang some of her original material, such as “Baby Blue,” “Hello, Officer” and did fantastic covers to Katy Perry, Britney Spears & Peggy Lee’s “I’m a Woman.”

Check out some of my favorite youtube videos here: (I love these!!)

Charming & stylish.

That uk!!! Plus the lyrics are so cute.

Her official music video for single “Like A Video”.

Friend and music partner, Merry Ellen Kirk, also traveled from Nashville, TN for the festival. Both of these ladies definitely were my favorite out of all the acts represented because I felt they truly embodied what true music artistry is all about. Merry Ellen Kirk’s voice was simply beautiful.

Her music video for “Blinding Me”. She sang this live and everyone was so deeply tuned in throughout her entire segment. It was refreshing to say the least. After one of her songs, Rachel, who sang with her proudly whispered to me, “That’s MY friend.” 🙂
