My Photoshoot for KinHairitage

with 4 comments

Thanks so much to my friends, Jada Gomez-Lacayo, Jennifer Laster and Marques Johnson for your participation as hair models plus bringing your own wardrope. (Jada’s sequined blouse is from my own collection) Thanks also to MUA, Joel Clements. Couldn’t have completed this without you all!

Vicky Shelton, natural hairstylist and owner of KinHairitage Salon & Spa, is located right around the heart of Pleasantville, NJ. Thank you for starting this business and for being simply amazing all around. 🙂

Due to time, limited hair models and to achieve the desired look for my finished photos, faux hair pieces were used in some of the pics. However, there are a plethora of natural hair styles we can feel beautiful in. Just ask your local natural hair salon what they can do.

The staff (Mama Shelton, ShidaNaturals on YOUTUBE, Cara Waters, Regina Reid & Keedah Wright) were fun to work with too! Personally, I love getting my hair done at this salon because I believe in healthy, beautiful and natural hair. Whether it’s long, short, straight, kinky/nappy, curly hair, reconnect with your true beauty. Try KinHairitage or your local black owned/ employed hair salon. Often, we know how to successfully manage our hair to good health.

Business specializes in natural hair care for ethnic women and men, but also welcomes all hair types.
