“I Have No Fear Whatsoever of Anybody or Anything”

“Who Taught You To Hate Yourself?”

Some quotes out of many –

“There is nothing better than adversity.
Every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss, contains its own seed,
its own lesson on how to improve your performance the next time.

-Malcolm X”

“Usually when people are sad, they don’t do anything. They just cry over their condition. But when they get angry, they bring about a change.” – Malcolm X

“You’re not to be so blind with patriotism that you can’t face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it.” – Malcolm X

“The future belongs to those who prepare for it today.” – Malcolm X

What a GREAT man. Was watching a lot of his youtube videos with my father just a couple of days ago too. I was amazed, as always, at how passionate he was about justice for his people. His character is so unapologetically strong. Of course, I would have loved to meet someone like him. I wonder what his thoughts would be about the conditions of black people and all people today? What would he have to say about Obama? I’m sure people I admire like intellectuals Dyson and West have their opinions, but would be Malcolm’s thoughts? I’m also thinking, if he had the chance to see my work, which would he choose to comment on? I ponder these questions today as I remember him on his birthday and always.
